About
KILMANTIN ARTS was founded in 1999 to promote and encourage the work of artists, photographers and craft workers of all ages in Wicklow. One of its chief aims is to establish a permanent arts centre for Wicklow town. It is a registered partnership and its members elect a voluntary management annually runs as a not-for profit organisation. Artists, of course, are encouraged to profit by selling through gallery at Kilmantin's gallery at Abbey Street in Wicklow town. The organisation is funded by membership fees, commissions on sales and fundraising activities. Among its growing membership are painters who work in water colours, oils, and prints; or craft from wood, ceramics, precious stones and metals.

If you are interested in joining the group as an exhibitor, bring three samples of your work to the gallery. One of our members will provide you with more details about the organisation. You may wish to become an ordinary member without being obliged to exhibit and perhaps, try your hand later. Drop in any day during the week and have look round. Membership
